We flew out of South Africa and went to our third country for this trip - Zimbabwe.
We got to our hotel in Zimbabwe, called the Safari Lodge at Victoria Falls. It was quite amazing. First thing today though we went on another River Cruise on the Zambezi River just above the famous falls. We did cross over to the other side so we were technically in another country, Zambia. That gave us four countries for this trip: South Africa, eSwanti, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
We saw more big African wildlife. A heard of elephants were playing by the shore in a sandy area.
Just behind the bull elephant you can see a tall giraffe.
We saw a lot of elephants on the cruise and hippos and cape buffalo.
It was a very relaxing and enjoyable cruise.

This is a view out our back window. There was this watering hole where you could watch various animals come to drink and get cooled off.
Saw a family of banded mongoose alongside the walkway near our room in the lodge.
Saw a Bushback Antelope there with the banded mongoose.
We had a big African feast there that night and saw the Boma Dinner and Drum Show.
They had lots of exotic food at the feast, including kudu, crocodile, lamb, etc. We tried them all. The food was great, lots of strange meats.
Jacquelyn and I were also the only ones in our group brave enough to eat a Mopane Worm. It's a staple food in rural areas and a snack in the cities. Jacquelyn went first, so of course I had to eat one too. Kind of crunchy and a little chewy.
