Doug's Birthday

I just had my 59th birthday.

 These pictures are from Sunday when we had some company over.  Jacquelyn made a crazy good cake which I was calling the Mother Lode.  It had lots of chocolate and caramel and chocolate chips and walnuts that reminded me of the Mother Lode cake from the Claim Jumper restaurant.  It was unbelievably good.

 On my actual birthday I went out to Red Robin with Jacquelyn, Caleb and Talitha.  Then on Sunday Malachi and Doranda and their families were over.  Here are the grandchildren, Scarlett, Andrew, Mallory, Tucker, and Penelope.  I am so lucky to have so many wonderful children and grandchildren.

 Mustn't forget little Leon who was too small to sit at the table.

 I wasn't the only one feeling a little older, Sammy has been putting on the years too.

Thank you everyone that came over and those that couldn't because they live so far away.  Especially thank you to Jacquelyn.  I am very blessed and I had a wonderful time.
