Keep things in perspective

At Stake Conference last weekend one of the speakers, President Gerald Hinckley from our Stake, was talking about adversity and the problems people face. He said when he was called as a Bishop he soon realized that everyone has problems. Everyone. It's part of life to have problems and we shouldn't expect not to have any.

That shouldn't prevent us from being happy if we keep things in the proper perspective and don't dwell on our problems and realize we're here to learn and to grown and to have experiences, including those we gain from problems.

So don't let the worries we all have about one thing or another prevent us from enjoying life. This is a favorite cartoon of mine that always serves to cheer me up.
