Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ.  After his atonement for the sins of all people he allowed himself to be crucified on the cross and died for all people so that anyone that is willing could have the means to gain salvation and return to live with him and Heavenly Father in heaven.

He actually did rise up from the dead three days after his death.  He came back to life and stood up and came out of the tomb where he had been buried.  Now others can do this too thanks to his atonement for our sins.  We will all be resurrected too and if we believe in him and try our best to follow his example and commandments and are baptised in his name, then we can have our sins forgiven too.

Many other people saw him, for example Mary was the first to see him after he came back to life.  Their witness of his resurrection is recorded in the Bible.  I have read these accounts and prayed about it and would like to testify to everyone that I believe this to be true with all my heart.

Jesus Christ really does exist. He rose from the dead. He loves us all. He has provided a way for us to have salvation too.

Easter Familiy Celebration

On Friday and Saturday we celebrated Easter with the fun stuff so that left Sunday open for religious rememberance of Easter and the Resurrection.  We had lots of family over to visit and that was the best part.  We got to visit and spend some time together and do some fun things together.  We had a big Easter Dinner, and went on walks, played lots of games, and some went shopping, and several made visits to Talitha's hair salon to get hair done, and we went out to the Triplex to get a washer and dryer, and some went out to dinner or to a movie.  There was lots to do.

The big event was the Easter Egg hunt of course.  The first step was to get the younger grandchildren out of the house with a walk.

The next step was to hide the Easter Eggs.

Then the big Easter Egg hunt began.  It was fun to watch.
