Last weekend we went to
Jarom's high school graduation in Spokane.
Jarom is our oldest grandson.

Here's
Jarom in his cap and gown. He had a gold sash since he was graduating with honors.

The graduation ceremony was at the
Gonzaga University basketball arena. Here's the graduating class which was over 400. Mead High School, besides being very large, had been rated as one of the best high schools in the country, both for academics and for student programs.

Amery was playing in the band down on the arena floor. Their band won lots of national
competitions.
Here's the proud mom taking pictures and you can also see Isaac and a little of Jacquelyn's face.
Caleb was there too and here's Evan. Also there was Jim and Ashton and James and me.
Here's Jarom finally getting his diploma. He made it.

We had a lot of fun watching the graduation. The ceremonies certainly are long and boring but it feels good to see them graduate and it was great to be there. What an accomplishment.

After the graduation we went down on the arena floor to
congratulate him. Good job
Jarom. You're finally done.

Here's a picture back home after it was all over. Now it's off to
Notre Dame for college.
