Trip to Africa - Cape Town

Jacquelyn and I left Seattle on a vacation to Africa with Gate 1.

We finally made it to South Africa after a long long trip.  First a 10 hour flight from Seattle to Amsterdam.  After a 1.5 hour layover we had a 12 hour flight to Cape Town. We were happy to be in Africa.

This is at the docks in Cape Town.  I was impressed at how modern and clean and nice Cape Town is.

 A view of Cape Town from the top of a nearby mountain.  It's a beautiful city nestled between the mountains and the ocean in a broad curving shoreline.

 We rode a gondola up to the top of Table Mountain.  Just in time too because the next day, when we were originally scheduled to go, the winds came up and it was closed.

 From on top of Table Mountain we had beautiful views of the city and ocean below.
