We went to the Daffodil Parade and for once it wasn't raining. We enjoyed getting out and had a good time.
How many people remember playing in the band while going to Ferrucci Junior High with Mr. Rink. He's still there.
There were lots of floats and bands and other fun stuff to see.
Malachi and Layne was there too and their two children. I think the little kids enjoyed the parade most of all. We liked being able to do things with them.
The big highlight of the whole parade was the Emerald Ridge marching band. They were the best.
With Caleb playing how could they not be good.
We liked watching Caleb play, although he probably didn't like the attention from family spectators calling out to him as he marched by.
Time for lunch after the parade. Caleb made himself a monster hamburger.
Of course not all is going as smoothly as one might think when we only show fun stuff on the Blog. As you can see here, our gutter fell off the house one day because of winds and I had to spend a good part of the morning putting it back up, several days later, after much embarrassment to Jacquelyn that our house looked sloppy. And now the gutter looks all dented up in places.
