Talitha's wedding to David

Talitha and David got married in Las Vegas on Saturday.  We are very happy for them.

They make a really neat couple and seem real happy together.  I think they are a good match.

The chapel was real pretty but we couldn't take pictures of the inside.  The pastor gave a very good talk and I got to walk Talitha down the aisle.

Congratulations Talitha and David Madsen.  Hope you have a wonderful marriage together.

Caleb leaves on his mission

Caleb left for the Provo Missionary Training Center.  He will be gone for two years serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.  He was called to the New Mexico Farmington Mission.  You can go to this link on a previous blog to see some maps of the mission and his calling from the Prophet.  Click on the maps for closeups.

Isaac and Kim's wedding

Isaac and Kim got married on December 28th.

 They made an extremely cute couple.

They got sealed together in the Seattle Temple

 We had a crowd waiting outside for them to come out.  Here's Ethan all the way down from Alaska come to the wedding.

 Finally Isaac and Kim come out of the temple.

Now they are married.

 We are very happy for them.

 Here's a picture of some some people waiting to greet them.  In front is Ashton, Evan, Scarlett, Tucker, and Ethan.  In back is Malachi, Scarlett, Bob, Tianna, David, and Joshua and Talitha.

 We had a reception at our church building in Puyallup that evening.

 Refreshments included punch and lots of things to eat.

 Here's some of the family at a table at the reception.  Jim, Mary-Anne with Jacob, Amery, David, Talitha with Scarlett, Layne, Jacquelyn, and Tianna.

 Second dance was Isaac with his mom.  Doranda was the official photographer for the wedding so you will see some much better pictures with a lot higher quality when she gets them out to Isaac.  Of course she often had little helpers tagging along.

 When it was time to go, of course the brothers and sisters had to decorate the car to send them off in style.

 This is the next day, they came over to the house and we had the Stephensons over too and then Isaac and Kim opened wedding gifts.

Talent Show

One day during the holidays we had a family talent show.  It was great fun.

 Doranda was the one pushing us to do it this year and getting us all organized. She got us started doing these last year and this year more people had acts and talents to show.  Tianna had something similar for the family at her house once only she called it a freak show and they did weird acts.

 Ashton showed his Spiderman climbing talents.

 Evan did a magic trick with a disappearing quarter.

 James showed he could count to over 100.

 Tianna did some gymnastics.

 Tucker and Penelope did some Taekwondo stuff.

 Penelope and Tucker broke boards with Taekwondo.

 Tucker showed a big Spiderman picture he colored.

 Bob sang a song.

Isaac did a Taekwondo routine with Ssahng Jeol Bongs

 Joshua told some amusing stories.

 Nathanel showed he could lift four children at once, and a dog.

 Ethan sang a song, which was really long and he knew all the words.

 Talitha showed some art she made at her glass blowing class.

I did some science tricks (no pictures) and Jacquelyn played the piano.
