Furnace Broke

Our trusty old furnace broke down and quit running.  That's the third major breakage this year already, after the transmission on my car failing and the refrigerator going dead.  Fortunately it hasn't been too cold here this week.

Luckily Malachi is helping.  He's going to find us a new furnace, which he can buy at a little over cost, and then he'll install it for us.

I'm still doing Jacquelyn posts but you'll have to go to a link on the previous post if you're interested.

  1. Yikes! A broken furnace is one of the worst things you can encounter, especially on cold weathers. Anyway, it’s nice to know that Malachi is helping you out in finding you a new furnace. I hope you found one that works best for your home. Nonetheless, I hope things are doing a lot better one for you guys!

  2. Is your furnace still repairable, or you really need to replace it? Oh well, it's good to know that it got broken on a day that wasn't too cold. Hahaha! Anyway, if it couldn't be fixed anymore, Malachi should look for a replacement as soon as possible because we'll never know what the weather will throw at us. Thanks for sharing that, Doug! All the best to your family!

  3. Goodness! I know how frustrating it is to have all these major appliances breaking one after another, but at least it wasn't snowing or something similar when it happened. You should also count your blessings that there was someone willing to buy an install a new furnace without too much delay. I hope it didn't cost you too much to fix.
